A Window Full of Love at Readings Kids, Carlton

A Window Full of Love at Readings Kids, Carlton

This week, a little dream came true – My sister Claudia and I created a window display at Readings Kids in Carlton to celebrate the release of My Nonno Loves!

The display is filled with pieces that remind us of home and family: papier-mâché tomatoes and lemons, shiny little coffee pots, and even bunches of home-grown spinach – all the things that made Nonno’s world so special.

To see it come to life in Carlton of all places feels extra meaningful. This is where my Nonno first started his journey when he arrived in Australia, and now here we are, sharing his story in the very heart of that community.

For us, this isn’t just a book display – it’s a tribute to love, family, and the traditions that shaped us. If you’re nearby, pop in and take a look. It’s a little slice of so many Italian families, right there in the window!
